Permanent Training and Development Officer /Trainer Assessor based in the Doncaster area.

Your new role

As a Trainer Assessor in Health and Social Care you will be passionate about inspiring learners to achieve.

This organisation recognises that Health and Social care is an important sector. Quality is high on the agenda and you will therefore use a range of techniques, always striving to deliver the best.

Working in a growing organisation, you will be based remotely and have a caseload of learners across the Doncaster region. Using your experience and knowledge, you will tailor the appropriate solution for the learner, ensuring they have a positive experience and develop their interest and confidence in Health and Social Care making a real impact on the Care Sector.

You will be able to deliver up to at least level 3 in H&S care and be confident at all stages of the programme from initial engagement, meeting stakeholders, using a range of teaching methods and learner centred learning strategy in line with appropriate awarding bodies requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for caring people who are passionate about supporting learners through their development journey, our essential requirements are:

  • Assessment Qualification (TAQA/A1/D32/33)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care; or equivalent
  • Ability to demonstrate sector experience
  • Functional Skills Level 1 (Mathematics, English & ICT) or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working remotely
  • IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including spreadsheets


  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social

You will need to be a people person, representing and promoting our values to our learners & employers. Bringing better to life, taking pride in what you do, doing the right thing, sharing your voice and allowing others to be heard too.

Your role is a full time permanent work earning between £22,000 - £24,000 annual salary depending on skills and experience + 40p per mile mileage.
