Learning Technologist - Solihull College and University Centre
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Learning Technologist. This post is based at Stratford-upon-Avon College and will require work and collaboration across Solihull College & University Campuses too.
The post-holder has responsibility for Learning Technology support across the College. The successful applicant will provide support and advice to staff and students using technology for learning, teaching and assessment and oversee implementation and running of dedicated support and systems. They will also take a role in developing and promoting Technology-Enhanced learning strategy and activities within, engaging with both business support and curriculum areas. This could include taking the lead on small projects linked to particular departments and wider projects across College during business planning and development periods.
In this post you will be part of a network of colleagues who develop and promote effective practice in the integration of technology within the College’s curriculum design and quality principles, both within and outside of College. You will provide advice and support to staff and students on a range of basic and more specialist software for teaching and assessment, including the VLE, Virtual & Augmented Reality, Social Networking and other EdTech Tools.
Applicants should have experience of implementing and administering learning technologies, strong communication and interpersonal skills and a Degree Level qualification. A teaching qualification and significant digital learning experience would be an advantage.
