Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with an internationally recognised business in Leeds, who are looking for a Management Accountant.

Within this role you will be responsible for a team of 2 and lead some key divisions across the UK. Ultimately, you will be a key figure in developing relationships across the business and work alongside senior Stakeholders and the core finance team in order to deliver results.

As Management Accountant your key responsibilities will include:

* The production of the monthly management accounts including commentary.
* Produce the statutory accounts including timely response to all year-end audit queries.
* Run monthly accounts reviews with both various finance teams.
* Responsibility for the balance sheet, including analytical review with senior stakeholders within the business.
* Review the balance sheet reconciliations ensuring they are accurate and produced to the required standard, with any risk exposure identified on a periodic basis.
* Understanding the revenue reporting process in order to provide the best support to other areas in the business.
* Provide leadership and development of the team as well as the day to day management (recruitment, training, appraisals, setting targets etc.), dealing with issues in a proficient and professional manner.

The ideal candidate:

Will be fully qualified on ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
Will have experience of supervising/managing a team.
Have excellent excel skills (including v-lookups and pivot tables).
Excellent communication skills which includes experience of communicating at a senior level with Stakeholders/Directors.
