A Third Party Risk Consultant role which will be accountable for the roll out of a recently designed control framework that details how my client engage and manage third party service providers.

Client Details

My client are a Mid sized Investment Bank based in the City of London. They are a great business to work for and are growing as a result of revenue growth and also an increased focus on governance and compliance throughout the business.


The Third Party Risk Consultant will be responsible for:

- Review and update the third party service provider inventory

- Support and execute third party risk assessments

- Build and maintain effective relationships with the business and functions

- Oversee and support the execution of the control framework by business/functional owners to ensure the risks of the individual relationships are understood and monitored by them

- Review and revise policy documents and templates as required

- Review and provide guidance on SLA's and contract clauses where required

- Support the business/functional owners in the formulation of appropriate metrics to monitor performance of the contract

The role will also be responsible for implementing and outsourcing structure within the business. In this capacity it will have the appropriate level of authority to monitor and challenge business and function heads in their interactions with third party service providers (including intragroup relations) and relevant reporting.


The successful Third Party Risk Consultant will have the following experience:

- Stong project management skills

- In depth knowledge of contract management, SLA's, vendor risk management

- Excellent communication skills

- Risk assessment and metric design skills

- Strong report writing skills

- Strong analytical skills

- Strong data manipulations skills

- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be credible

- Gravitas to challenge constructively and to influence

- Analytical thinking with methodical approach and excellent attention to detail

- Excellent team worker

Job Offer

£400-£450 per day (ltd company)
