Bench Technician - Critical Care & Imaging equipment

Based: Cambridgeshire

Package: Up to £32,000 basic, bonus and full package

Are you technical/service engineer with good experience in hospital equipment service, maintenance and complex installations?

A market leading Critical Care equipment business is looking for a Bench Technician - Critical Care equipment/devices and Ultrasound.

The ideal candidate will be based in Cambridgeshire.

Bench Technician - Critical Care & Imaging equipment - Responsibilities:

* Provide technical service support on the inspection, repair and calibration of products for customers.
* Respond to customer calls during office hours, Monday to Friday. Maintain positive, professional communications with customers and service team members.
* Maintain accurate spare parts inventory and keep spare parts in use effectively.
* Maintain tools and test equipment properly and liaise with the Service Supervisor/Manager
* May include training of clinical staff on designated equipment.
* Track and maintain both parts and loaner inventories
* Other tasks or responsibilities designated by the Service Supervisor/Manager.
* Make decisions based on company policies and procedures. Discuss and refer unresolved service issues with the Service Manager.

Bench Technician - Critical Care & Imaging equipment- Requirements:

* Proven track record in medical service engineering, more specifically service, maintenance and repair on medical capital equipment
* Experience in patient monitoring and/or delivering IT/connectivity solutions ideal
