Cloud Engineer (AWS, Devops, SysOps, Linux)

Salary: £65K - £75K Basic + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Location: North West London | South Hertfordshire (Watford, St Albans, Hemel, Stanmore, Bushey, Elstree, Borehamwood, Harrow - all good commutes)

Keywords: AWS, DevOps engineer, Cloud Engineer, Cloud Systems Engineer, Cloud Solutions Architect, EC2, SaaS, DevOps, Cloud Formation, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, Automation, Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Linux, Cloudstack, Docker.

Would you like to join a rapid growth, established & passionate UK software product vendor as a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer, who has aspirations to become a Cloud Solutions Architect?

Would you like to join the ``Enterprise Architecture`` group, who lead the way in future projects, forward thinking systems engineering design & special projects for the company?

If that sounds good & you have solid levels of experience in Cloud DevOps Engineering (specifically AWS EC2), DevOps automation with CI / CD & a genuine passion for modern software infrastructure & development, then we would like to hear from you please!

Your first major project will be a Greenfield deployment of AWS EC2 public cloud, from a mostly private / hybrid cloud estate. We`ve actually done this before with a different software platform, but into Azure - so thought we`d go AWS this time.

Circa 200 staff worldwide, with the HQ & main engineering & development offices here in the UK, we are first & foremost a software company driven by technology, but realise that career is also important; plenty of opportunities here.

Please take a look at some of the below & if you think you`ve got what it will take, get in touch!

We`d mostly be looking for...

- AWS: You must be comfortable designing solutions for AWS (Cloud formation, VPC, EFS, AWS Security, Load Balancers)

- Automation & Configuration management: Tools such as Chef, Puppet & Ansible)

- Scripting / programming: Ruby / BASH (Chef), Python, JSON, Java, Perl etc to implement the automation.

- Strong background in Linux systems Admin work. Configuration management & automation especially.

Technologies that we currently use, so would be great if you have experience, but not a requirement:

- Cloudstack: Experience working with Cloudstack would be super good.

- Docker: We have some early stage plans to use Docker in production & experience working with Docker deployments & containers would be an advantage.

So, if all the above sounds pretty good to you, we`d love to hear from you. Great environment, career, management, technology & future home on offer.
