SEN teaching assistant required for an education centre in Gloucester on a temporary contract.
Your new company
This education centre has established itself as a limited company for the delivery of government funded training. Your new role
You will be responsible for working 1:1 or group work with young people in classes of no larger than 10. You will be responsible for working 1:1 with the pupil ensuring that they have full access to all aspects of learning throughout the day. You will also be assisting teachers in group work in those classes that are slightly larger to ensure that students have that additional support.
What you'll need to succeed
The school is looking for someone who has experience working 1:1 in an SEN setting and with group work with students aged 11 +. Been an outstanding practitioner with the ability to inspire, drive, and support children to achieving their goals. You must have 1:1 experience working within an SEN setting within the last 2 years. Previous experience working with EHCP's would be beneficial.
