Insurance Account Manager
My client is a well-established National broker based in Birmingham City Centre. They have a new opportunity for a relationship manager to join their corporate team and manage 20 of their key important clients.
This position will need you to have charisma but not be a salesperson, albeit a key part of the role is to work to develop new relationships and widen their client bases (this however is not an overnight process in the business and can take years). You must have confidence and be able to develop new relationships, be very comfortable attending networking events and meeting new people. You will be a person whom is genuinely perceived as trustworthy and reliable as well as being genuinely sincere. There will be approximately 2/3 Saturday requirements a year. Ideally you will have account management experience gained within the insurance or finance industry and be able to demonstrate your client exposure. In addition you must have a strong team ethic and good negotiation and listening skills.
Skill-set required for the role:
Proven track record of client account management
Broad understand of insurance
Strong net worker
Ability to communicate at all levels
The position offers flexible working hours and options to be home based, although you must be able to commute to the Birmingham office 1-2 a week.
