Would you like to work in a growing company who are rapidly growing, work hard but don't take themselves too seriously? With fantastic offices close to transport links, Crewe, Middlewich, Norhwich and Sandbach. This company is looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their team on a fixed term maternity contract for 12 months. There is potential for this position to become permanent however this depends on the needs of the business.
Working closely alongside the financial controller and management accountant you will be responsible for overseeing the transactional accounts processes as well as other adhoc duties as and when required. Your duties will include reconciliation of bank statements, managing weekly payment runs, managing supplier queries and processing supplier invoices and allocating payments. Additionally you will be responsible for assisting with month and year end procedures and will be confident speaking to suppliers and colleagues.
Working within accounts you will have a high degree of accuracy and will be able to effectively juggle tasks. Working with Sage, you will have exceptional communication skills and will be confident in your ability.
