Your new company
Your new company is a growing international manufacturing organisation, with 90 years behind them. Starting as a family run business, but now part of a group with multiple companies across Europe. Over the years they have expanded, supplying specialist metal products into many industrial sectors. Due to natural change in the business they're looking for a Maintenance Technician.
Your new role
As Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the breakdown and planned preventative maintenance schedule of the site. You will have both mechanical and electrical experience (including hydraulic and pneumatics), maintaining a variety of equipment including presses, rolling mills and assorted drives.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed within this role you must be a time served or degree (or equivalent) level Engineer / Technician. You must also have experience in a similar role, within a manufacturing environment. Extensive practical experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing factory setting is essential and the ability to weld and use machine tools (lathe & mill) is desirable. A good understanding of relevant Health and Safety procedures is required.

In return you will receive a negotiable salary up to £30,000 (this is dependent on the candidate and will be discussed during the interview process).
