This is your chance to join a dynamic IT Service Desk team and play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues for all of Bureau Veritas’ UK and North West Europe users.

We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic undergraduate to join a team of 6 on our busy and thriving IT Service Desk, devoted to troubleshooting and resolving IT issues in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

With a focus on delivering excellent service to our internal stakeholders, your day to day duties make up an essential part of our business operations. Responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the First Point of Contact for all IT related user queries and information requests.
  • Providing Incident and Request support to End user environment for office as well as remote / field based users across North West Europe covering several divisions.
  • Processing new starter, leaver and change requests for users.
  • Dealing with all levels of staff, and the management and escalation of tickets to other IT and IS resolver groups across the globe.
  • Assisting in post roll-out support.
  • Major incident communications and coordination for North West Europe.

  • ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT A FUTURE IT CAREERCandidate Requirements include:

    • A passion for and affinity with IT
    • Be studying either an IT or Business Management Degree (or have relevant other work experience)
    • Customer Service Experience in a business environment would be beneficial, but not essential
    • Excellent written/oral English language skills
    • Able to prioritise work load and work as part of a team·Able to work to deadlines (SLAs)
    • Demonstrable problem solving skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
