Secondary school in Blackpool seeking to appoint a Qualified Teaching Assistant.

Your new company
Your new Secondary School, located in the Blackpool area are seeking to appoint a full time teaching assistant for immediate start with a view to go permanent at the end of the academic year.

Your new role
As a qualified teaching assistant you will be adhering to care plans for various SEN students with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. You will provide support within the classroom and be responsible for minimising disruptions. Working closely alongside a supportive team to provide quality provision and increase attainment. Your working hours would be Monday to Friday from 08:30 till 15:15

What you'll need to succeed
Being a qualified teaching assistant is essential in order to be successful within this post. Holding a team-teach qualification in addition to a formal TA qualification would be desirable. Experience of supporting BESD either in an SEN/PRU, or mainstream setting would be required. Teaching assistants that do not meet the above criteria but are interested in other vacancies and wish to hear about them before they are advertised should also apply to this position.
