A global producer of seafood-based products based in Dingwall has an excellent opportunity available for a Personal Assistant/Financial Services Manager to join its team on a permanent basis.

The role of the Personal Assistant/Financial Services Manager will be to ensure effective control and operation of the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Site Payroll, Pension and Office Administration functions and to co-ordinate all site IT issues and manage resolution via external service providers.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all staff
  • Managing and Developing staff (2 heads)
  • Sales Ledger Cash Allocation
  • Supervision and cover for Sales Processing including Inter-company
  • Engaging with customers on credits and claims
  • Supervision and cover for Accounts Payable processing including inter-company
  • Set up of all supplier payments through the Internet Banking system
  • Operating and Managing all weekly and monthly payroll for the site including HMRC submissions
  • Administering all clocking and reporting of Agency staff
  • Managing site pension accounting processes
  • Arranging all travel and accommodation for employees and guests visiting site
  • Effective Office Administration for the site including attendance, sickness and holiday analysis
  • Co-ordinating and expediting all site related I.T issues and development of new T&A and Banking systems
  • Monitoring and tracking annual capital expenditure
  • Additional Finance tasks as required

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a finance based role including accounting processes and end to end payroll processing. A formal finance qualification is an advantage along with previous experience of providing PA services.

The Personal Assistant/Financial Services Manager will work full time hours generally between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday however flexibility is essential and this position may involve out of hours calls to complete tasks to support the needs of the business.

In return, the Personal Assistant/Financial Services Manager will receive a starting salary which is negotiable depending on experience.
