Job DescriptionRegional Sales Manager: A Regional Sales Manager is required to maximise sales via Resellers, National & Independent Builders Merchants, and Tile Shops, for a leading globally recognised manufacturer of underfloor heating and associated products.

The Regional Sales Manager will visit and build strong relationships with customers along the M62 region, who are typically wholesalers, resellers, national & independent merchants and tile shops, and also make site visits where necessary.

Previous experience selling building products via resellers, with a proven track record of delivering growth is required.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Understand customers' needs, advise them with relevant products
- Take phone calls from customers and make pro-active outbound calls to customers
- Turn leads and enquiries into a sale
- Communicate new product/services development to prospective buyers
- Work closely with Marketing to develop content relevant to target sector
- Provide Marketing and Management with market intelligence and customer insights
- Represent the client at trade shows, events and exhibitions
- Maintain and updates sales and customer records
- Be a team player in an ambitious family run company

Skills & Experience:
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets selling to resellers
- Able to understand customers' needs, good product knowledge
- Ability to handle pressure
- Well organised and able to prioritise own workload
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills: comfortable on the phone, good at establishing a rapport
- A positive attitude
- Tenacious, determined, bold
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
