A niche services business established for well over 30 years based in South Liverpool requires an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to start as soon as possible. The role is to cover a long-term period of maternity leave up until September 2018.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

* Processing, matching, batching and coding supplier invoices
* Resolving supplier queries
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Processing payment runs by BACS
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks

Experience & Skills Required:

* Up to date and relevant experience working in an end to end Purchase Ledger role
* Excellent communication skills internally and with suppliers
* Has strong attention to detail
* Has a can-do approach and can work well independently and as part of a team
* Good IT skills, ideally used Sage software

This is a great opportunity for you to join a well established business who provide a variety of specialist services. As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be a key member of the small finance team and will enjoy the responsibility of running the Purchase Ledger function from start to finish. You will be challenged by suppliers and the management of your time. The key to being successful in this temporary role is being organised and using the depth of your knowledge and experience.

The role is temporary, long-term for approximately 7 months. The pay is competitive for the Liverpool market and you will separately accrue holiday pay.
