School SIMS Administrator
School Administrator - SIMS Administrator - Nottinghamshire - Nottingham
Your new school
Primary and Secondary schools across Nottinghamshire are often seeking well organised School Administrators with SIMS/Microsoft systems experience within an educational setting. Roles typically include normal school office hours (Monday - Friday) and will usually begin as a temporary post with a view of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
The role of a school administrator is extremely varied; you will be responsible for day-to-day system/administration tasks, liaising with parents both in person and over the telephone, ensuring daily registers are completed accurately and in a timely manner, meeting and greeting all stakeholders at the main reception (acting as the face of the school) and monitoring the school mailbox. In your new job role you will also play a key part in driving the schools short and long term vision and will provide an exceptional service to all contacts both internally and externally.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have prior experience working as an administrator in a school environment and will ideally have experience using school systems such as SIMS. It is fundamental that you are highly organised and are comfortable multitasking in a sometimes fast-paced environment. You will be confident in communicating with a variety of key stakeholders; including parents, teachers, management and pupils.
What you'll get in return
A chance to work in an exciting school environment which is always busy. You will have the opportunity to work directly with your office manager and head teacher with the potential to take on a more senior/permanent role if you perform well.
