Job Description

Harper May is currently working with a high growth smart phone accessories brand that has recently completed several funding rounds. This exciting company is seeking an ambitious AP Clerk to join their team and are offering £15 an hour for a 6 month fixed term contract. My client has seen its revenue and employee count rise exponentially since inception in 2014. The successful candidate will have prior AP experience.

JOB DUTIES

  • Review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Sort, code and match invoices
  • Set invoices up for payment
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Produce monthly reports
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
