One of London's most innovative eCommerce organisations have opened up an opportunity for a Delivery focused Scrum Master to join a talented team! They are currently using cutting edge technology to produce scalable and accessible products and deliver excellent B2B and B2C customer experiences.

This a great opportunity to work in a great location across multiple teams to embed Agile principles and values with a focus on delivery and ensuring quality solutions that meet business demands. You will be expected to be on top of Agile trends and best practices, will full autonomy to become a driving force for continuous improvement in the adoption of a Lean and Agile culture.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Work as a servant leader within the project team
  • Act as an enabler to the delivery process across multiple software teams
  • Promote and embed Agile principles and delivery techniques
  • Providing fortnightly team and project progress updates to stakeholders
  • Helping the organisation understand its value stream; how it delivers to its end users; highlighting areas of inefficiencies; and investigating end to end cycle time improvements
  • Encourage, coach and facilitate continuous improvement process, mindset and environment and be a driver in positive change to the organisation
  • Working closely with product owners in adopting an incremental and empirical approach to setting goals against their product roadmap, elaborating and refining on product features and leading product teams with clear sprint goals and story requirements

Ideally, we're looking for someone with strong experience in an Agile Delivery Lead role or a Scrum Master role. You'll need in-depth understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean and be able to differentiate why different flavours may work better depending on the situation at hand. You'll be naturally enthusiastic, and hold the right personality traits to improve team cohesion, process and morale within the team. This is a highly autuonmous role, so you'll be able to work independently, have excellent personal organisation and be able to demonstrate consistently balanced good judgement, logical thought prioritisation and a strategic thinking.
