Person Specification- SEN Teaching Assistant
To be considered for this role, you must be a psychology graduate with a passion for providing support for SEN children. The ideal candidate for this SEN Teaching Assistant role will have the ambition to become educational psychologists or child psychologists and are keen to build relevant and paid experience providing 1:1 support for a child with behavioural difficulties.
About the Role- SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the learning of a specific year 3 pupil who presents real difficulties in terms of attention and behaviour and attention span. You will be a resilient person who is looking for a challenge in providing great support in this 1:1 role. Some training will be given in advance so that you can be effective from day one.
The School was graded 'good' in a recent Ofsted reported and was commended for the support it gives to children with behavioural and attention difficulties. The school is excellently run by a friendly head and an extensive support team to provide new teaching assistants with the help they need.
