Professional Service Consultant apprentice - £250pw - Reigate
The PS Consultant role is desk based and supports Professional Services by delivering a number of activities that are better placed within a desk based role where flexibility, availability and costs are improved.
· Activities predominantly includes the installation / configurations of software and collation of data for audits.
· You may support the account managers with scoping customer requirements to create proposals and contracts, this may also include technical and part queries.
· You will also manage customer audits, resources for floor walks and the creation of audit reports for delivery by them or the Business Consultant

The apprenticeship will be a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician and will include the following core modules,
· Cisco Certified Network Associate qualification
· Knowledge module - mobile and operating systems
· Install Configure Windows Server
· Knowledge module - coding and logic
This programme will be delivered by our training partner, Crawley College. The apprenticeship will last for 15 months and you will attend the college on a day release basis, one day per week (term time only)
Training to be Provided:
Technical Knowledge and Understanding - Infrastructure Technician Level 3 • Working knowledge of a range of cabling and connectivity, the various types of antennas and wireless systems and IT test equipment • Understands maintenance processes and applies them in working practices • Understands and applies the basic elements and architecture of computer systems • Understands where to apply the relevant numerical skills e.g Binary • Understands he relevant networking skills necessary to maintain a secure network • Understands the similarities, differences and benefits of the current Operating Systems available • Understands how to operate remotely and how to deploy and securely integrate mobile devices • Understanding and working knowledge of Cloud and Cloud Services • Understands the importance of disaster recovery and how a disaster recovery plan works and their role within it • Understands the similarities and differences between a range of coding and logic
Minimum 12 months
Have a “Can Do” attitude, numerate, articulate, well presented with a keen interest in IT with a passion for delivering great customer service.
Maths, English Language and ICT GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent). New grades 4-9.
•Be a self-starter with an enthusiastic attitude •Be able to demonstrate tenacity when faced with difficult situations, people or challenges •Have excellent communication skills and experience in customer service •Be computer literate and able to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal form. •Have good data analysis skills •And a desire to succeed
