**No agencies please**Calling all creative communicators and designers, we’re looking for an extra pair of hands.

We are looking to grow our team and are looking for a creative, tenacious and enthusiastic person to support our marketing department and take on the responsibility for developing and creating print and digital materials for our business. Skilled in graphic design, an eye for detail and with great communication attributes the ideal candidate will be technically savvy, have a natural flair for creativity and will be able to help take our refreshed brand onto new levels.

We have lots of ideas, bucket loads in fact but it’s delivering them which is where you come in.

About the Role
We are looking for someone with proven graphic design experience in the production of marketing collateral, both on and offline. A good communicator, the successful applicant will also be required to support the marketing department on a day-to-day basis delivering key messages in innovative ways internally and externally across a range of on and offline channels.

This is a brand new role so this presents a fantastic opportunity to shape the role exactly as you see fit in order to meet role objectives and requirements. We’ll need your input on appropriate software and back office support too, so it really is an opportunity to shape the whole creative function.

Typical duties and responsibilities:

Adhering to the Nexus brand guidelines, managing the entire design process from brief to completion in a professional and seamless way, producing marketing collateral for on and offline use.

Following design briefs and guidelines to create collateral for digital and print projects.

Under guidance of the Head of Marketing, create content for publication across all marketing channels, on and offline.

Working with the Head of Marketing assist with the development and delivery of our regular client communications.

Social media management (namely Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook)

Lead on the set up of in-house design function, including storage and transfer of files, version control and centralised brand assets.

Help design and implement our new website and manage it, ensuring content is consistent and up to date.

Support the Head of Marketing with strategy development and execution, utilising the full communications mix

Providing day-to-day guidance on approach, design and corporate identity

Creation of branded resources

Liaise with third party suppliers (including design agencies and printers)

Work across video and photography to produce engaging content

Assist with event organisation

Competitor research.

Support all marketing administration requirements including compliance monitoring and reviews.

About You

At least three years graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software – Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator are paramount to the job, and a proven track record in designing and developing marketing collateral. Organisational skills are key, and you’ll be someone who isn’t fazed by a wide number of tasks happening at once, remaining able to demonstrate creative flair and a high attention to detail at all times. You’ll also be someone you has a good understanding of the role of design in achieving marketing and company objectives, a creative thinker and problem solver who enjoys working in a collaborative culture where no two days are the same.

Educated to degree level, ideally within a marketing based discipline and with the ability to demonstrate previous experience.

Previous financial services experience is highly desirable.

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 DOE. Full Time. Pro-rata for part time.
