A market leader in Fee Protection Insurance and a subsidiary of the Peninsula Business Group, Croner Taxwise employs 120 staff based at our prestigious offices in Hinckley. We deliver this specialist insurance to clients through a channel of over 4000 Accountants in the UK, many of whom rely on our marketing department to promote the Schemes to their clients.

The Role

A vacancy has arisen for a dynamic individual to join our digital marketing team. This role will be pivotal as the business continues to grow and develop its digital marketing strategy. As a Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the website as well as managing the day to day running of Croner Taxwise’s social media.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the Croner TaxWise website ensuring that we are constantly driving new content, increasing traffic, monitoring user journeys and generating leads for nurturing.
  • Responsible for the management of our PPC strategy, working with our internal PPC team.
  • Development of a paid media strategy, liaising with internal teams, affiliates and associations as necessary.
  • Managing, preparing and dispatching all email marketing campaigns using our email management software, preparing templates in HMTL.
  • Providing accurate reports and analysis to the Managing Director to demonstrate effective return on investment of our digital marketing tactics.
  • Using web analytics software to monitor the performance of our websites and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Providing the marketing team and our Accountancy channel with insight into digital marketing trends and training on best practice.
  • Keeping up to date with current digital trends, ensuring that the business in constantly driving new marketing techniques.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the Croner Taxwise social media channels, overseeing the progression and development of the social media strategy.
  • Ownership of all social media content creation; working closely with internal and external copywriters and designers to fulfil requirements
  • In conjunction with the Sales Manager; work closely with external partners and associations on pre-agreed marketing activity.
  • Day-to-day management of the company’s presence on digital reputation platforms; liaising with the Group Reputation Officer where necessary.
  • Supporting the wider business in other activities and duties as required.
Required Skills:
  • Substantial experience as a Digital Marketing Executive
  • Highly competent in the use of WordPress.
  • Experience of working with email marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor, Mailchhimp or Dotmailer
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce desirable but not essential
  • A thorough understanding of social media platforms and how to utilise them to drive new business and customer retention.
  • Experience working with external agencies and associations.
  • Experience in online reputation and brand management desirable but not essential.
