Fantastic opportunity to join this leading retail business who are looking for an experienced Retail Insight / Market Research Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Producing and analysing data and providing recommendationsManipulating and understanding large amounts of data to be able to accurately diagnose issues and then transferring them into recommendationsMarket data analysisDevelopment of strategic conclusions and recommendations for the category teamsProviding actionable customer insight for the commercial teamsProducing trend forecastsDelivering presentations to senior stakeholdersManaging external agenciesStore visits to analyse competitor activity

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Strong academic background, ideally a numerate/technical degree
  • Experience as an Insight Analyst/Manager working for a Retailer, FMCG manufacturer or Research Agency
  • Self-managing, capable of planning and prioritising a broad and extensive range of activities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring data is summarised and communicated in a logical and informative manner, appropriate to the given audience.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office including Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills

It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to draw out the commercial implications of their work and provide concise summaries to senior management as well as leading important strategic and analytical projects.
