Accounts Payable Assistant required for an exciting new role based in South Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a large company where there are long term career development opportunities. You will be responsible for looking after supplier accounts, making sure payment terms are met and dealing with queries in a prompt and courteous manner, liaising with other departments to find resolutions. You will manage manual payment requests and monitor various accounts payable inboxes. Tasks include processing invoices, matching, allocating unit and overhead costs, dealing with foreign currency payments and general accounts payable tasks such as supplier statement reconciliation.

You will have strong purchase ledger experience, superb communication skills and good customer service skills. You will be a self motivated person who enjoys improving processes and delivering targets. Good Excel skills and keyboard skills are essential for this post.
