Opportunity in a fast paced, high volume business reporting into the Financial Accountant and working in a small and friendly accounts team. An established business with a great reputation in the South Wales market.

Client Details

My client a well established company with an exciting work environment. They are looking for a purchase ledger clerk who can assist in a fast paced, high volume environment.


As a purchase ledger you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Processing a high volume of invoices (1500+ per month)

Reconciling accounts to supplier statements

Weekly and monthly BACs

Weekly payroll

Preparing monthly PAYE

General ad-hoc duties

Balancing Cash book


The successful candidate would be able to display:

3 years purchase ledger experience (minimum)

Ability to communicate effectively

Good excel skills (Pivot tables, V Lookups)

Dedication to completing tasks in a high pressure environment

Experience in construction sector would be desirable
