CfBT Education Services (part of Education Development Trust) are looking for Primary and Secondary English teachers to work in government schools in Brunei Darussalam from June 2018. CfBT provides education services to Brunei Darussalam in support of the bilingual education policy. There are around 80 Primary and 120 Secondary teachers on this programme with a very high contract renewal rate. Successful candidates will be able to join at a later date if preferred

As part of the programme you will work within government primary and secondary schools teaching English to Bruneian students aged 5-6 or 12–17.

Brunei Darussalam is a small, peaceful country on the island of Borneo in South East Asia. It is surrounded by pristine tropical jungle and beaches with temperatures around 27 - 30 degrees all year.

1) Degree from a university in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, South Africa
2) Qualified teacher status/teacher accreditation (PGCE, Bed, DipT etc.). A TEFL certificate and degree on its own is not accepted
3) Minimum 3 years relevant classroom teaching experience post qualification
4) Preferably at least 1 year's recent EFL/ESL training/experience for secondary and early years experience for primary
4) Under 55 years old
