Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
My client, a rapidly growing, private equity backed business requires an FP&A accountant to join the team. This is a new role and as such enables the successful candidate to define and grow the role.
The main task will be to manage and maintain the company budget and business plan and to update the forecast on a timely and accurate basis. Working with the CFO and the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the monthly reporting cycle and presentation of budget and forecast data. You will also be providing business partnering services to the wider team and therefore challenging managers on relevant key performance indicators.
The successful candidate will be a part-qualified accountant with the ability to work in a changing environment and have experience of delivering in a growth phase. You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a demonstrable track record in persuading and influencing colleagues. Finally the ability to build relationships internally is key, as are strong system skills, especially excel.
