As a result of recent investment into Xtrac, they are now seeking to recruit a number of talented engineers to join their team on a permanent basis.

So about the job, Manufacturing Process Engineer .

We currently have a great opportunity available for an experienced Process Engineer to join our Manufacturing team.

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will undertake and fully manage projects to include Process Enhancements, New Processes, Capital Investment and Lean Manufacturing principles, in order to improve efficiency and maximise return on investment.

You will ideally have experience of Group Technology or Cellular manufacturing and understand how to design and implement these concepts to increase factory throughput.

You will conduct work and method studies to identify the relevance of a proposed project, and thereafter produce and maintain project plans which identify effort versus cost and return.

When managing projects you will work closely with Engineers, Department Managers and Machinists, and where appropriate communicate both written and verbally to all levels within Xtrac, its customers and suppliers, including providing technical support and advice on manufacturing processes.

What we need from you.

Qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND in an Engineering related discipline, you will have knowledge of transmission components and quality systems, along with previous Motorsport or Automotive experience. In-depth knowledge of Epicor E9 is a prerequisite for this role, as are excellent organisational skills.

IT skills (MS Office & AutoCad) are essential and your experience to date will have equipped you with knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, controls and quality standards.

You will have the ability to work to a high and consistent standard especially when under pressure. You should be able to manage and prioritise your own workload to achieve deadlines, display initiative and enthusiasm, and have a flexible approach to work.
