Senior Infrastructure Analyst - Law Firm - Design, Implement - The Role:

Responsible for the full range of infrastructure services and technology in use across the firm, working in collaboration with the business to interpret their requirements into technical designs.

Providing technical guidance to the wider team and acting as a mentor to enhance the technical excellence within the Infrastructure team. Where required supporting the firm's on premise and hosted server infrastructure including responsibly for day to day maintenance, monitoring and support, taking ownership of upgrades, monitoring and scaling/DR planning for core systems.

As one of the key technical members of the IT department you will be responsible raising awareness of risk management taking appropriate steps to minimise risks and highlighting and mitigating risks appropriately.

Senior Infrastructure Analyst - Law Firm - Design, Implement - Responsibilities:

  • Attend project and design meetings as lead engineer
  • Support and mentoring other members of the IT team
  • Troubleshooting incidents across the infrastructure estate
    • Project work within IT department
    • In-depth and proven experience supporting a Microsoft Windows server (2008/2012) environment as well as maintaining high availability systems to meet business SLAs.
    • Recommend and coordinate software/firmware upgrades for the sites
    • Strong experience with law firm technology including - Document Management System, Time Recording, Billing, Dictation
    • Experience working with 3rd party support companies and hosted infrastructure/data centres
    • Ensuring IS&T infrastructure is robust and reliable, meeting defined SLA's
    • Proactive maintenance of server infrastructure
