Software Tester / QA Test Analyst (Web Services Java Python). Market leading software house is seeking a skilled Software Tester with strong experience of web services to join a talented team. You will ensure the quality of the flagship product that allows users easy remote-access to their desktops.
As a Software Tester you will be a key player in delivering a highly available, scalable cloud services to support this innovative solution, with a keen eye to functionality and performance issues. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques, you will have the freedom to choose the tools that you use, as well as developing frameworks or procedures.
Based in Cambridge, a short walk from the station, this is a friendly, collaborative environment that uses cutting-edge technologies and sees testing as a valued part of the development process.
Requirements for a Software Tester / QA Test Analyst:
- Passionate about software testing, having used a mix of manual and automated test techniques
- Experience with an OO language, ideally Java or Python
- Web Services testing experience, e.g. REST, SOAP, XML, RPC
- Degree educated, likely to be in Computer Science or a related subject
As a Software Tester / QA Test Analyst you will earn a competitive salary (to £45,000), plus bonus and benefits package, including a pension scheme, private healthcare and dental.
