Purchase Ledger Clerk

Shawston International is a market leading specialist distribution service provider of steel pipeline equipment in the Mechanical Engineering and Fire Protection industry.

We have a permanent full time vacancy for a purchase ledger clerk within its Finance team based in Denton, Manchester.

Initial Duties:

·Processing, logging, scanning and filing stock and overhead invoices for Shawston International

·Processing, logging, scanning and filing stock and overhead invoices for Tipton Jones Limited – a sister company

·Dealing with internal purchasing disputes

Leading onto:

In addition to the above:

·Coding of supplier invoices

·Dealing with external purchasing disputes

·Payment runs

·General finance administration

Experience/ skills required:

·Some previous finance experience is desirable, but Shawston will provide the appropriate training for the successful candidate

·Outgoing personality

·Team player

·Office: Excel/ Word/ Outlook etc with Sage 200 experience being useful
