About our Oracle Programme

Following the success of our 3 year Oracle implementation programme, Kier are setting up an in-house ERP Centre of Excellence to deliver standardised HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, Commercial and reporting processes and working practices across the Group. The new Centre of Excellence is a significant investment for the Group and has been made in recognition of the importance of maintaining and developing these systems, a role that in the interim is being provided by a systems integrator via a managed service contract. It is also recognised at Board level that the team will be critical to the delivery of the Group's ambitious growth plans as set out in Vision2020. This further investment and employing a specialist in-house team will allow the organisation to manage the long-term maintenance and improvement of the Oracle ERP and other linked systems for the Group's benefit.

The Role

We are looking for an Oracle Release Analyst to join our newly created vibrant team, supporting our existing Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 implementation and delivering future change.

Reporting to the Oracle Customer Success Manager, the Oracle Release Analyst is responsible for ensuring that high quality releases are planned and deployed to all environments such that quality, traceability, auditability, and security are delivered in line within our defined governance framework.

The individual will be expected to work with the Oracle Technical and Business Support teams to control the timing and release of code through development, test, training and production life-cycle stages. This role is also accountable for ensuring that all governance steps including testing, documentation, cutover plans, training needs, communications and approvals are in place and actioned at every step.

The individual will be an expert in this specialist field and will use their knowledge and expertise to develop and improve processes and provide guidance to ensure successful change delivery.
