Design engineer required for a globally leading manufacturer within their field. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive company which has undergone massive success in recent years, overtaking previous leaders in their market. To apply for this role you can come from ANY engineering background however candidates with any HVAC experience will hold a considerable advantage. You must have 2D design experience with AutoCAD however no formal qualifications are required.
This role is 100% 2D design as you will be responsible for using AutoCAD to design machines by bringing together pre designed components. Occasionally, you will be responsible for tweaking the design of the components however experience designing components is NOT necessary. The company are looking at introducing 3D design so any 3D design experience will give you a considerable advantage. The role will involve sheet metal design but experience with this is also NOT essential however will be highly beneficial.
This role will require the successful candidate to be very customer facing as you will go on visits to take briefs, including working alongside the client to ensure their design needs fit within budget. You will also work closely with the installation team to ensure designs are carried out correctly. All transport will be provided as the company can provide a pool car.
