Job description

In this Finance Assistant graduate job, you will be developing your knowledge of operations and finance within a rapidly growing tech firm. You will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency of the payments department, and will be tasked with processing payments, calculating fees and liaising internally with the finance department. To be successful in this role you will need to be fantastic with numbers and a proactive team player, as you will be the go-to when it comes to all payment-related queries.

Key responsibilities

In this Finance Assistant graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

* Processing daily payments, both inbound and outbound
* Calculating borrower fees and settlement figures based on bespoke agreements
* Answering internal and external queries regarding payments
* Identifying account reconciliation issues
* Ensuring that the company is adhering to financial standards
* Helping to improve the internal processes within the business

So, what are we looking for?

* A minimum of a 2.1 in a numerate subject
* 6 months experience in admin - ideally in payment processing
* Excellent excel skills - you'll know your V Lookups from your pivot tables
* A desire to dive into the world of finance
* Great communication skills - you'll need to be confident communicating with a variety of teams
