About the Business

Due to continued growth in projects within the business we are recruiting for an 2 x Installation Engineers to supplement the existing team. The Person

First and foremost you will be a skilled engineer with either a recognized apprenticeship or you will have NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)and upwards in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. You will have experience of installing mechanical equipment on site. You will be customer focused and understand how to engage with customers in an effective and personable manner ensuring you leave an excellent impression of the business you work for. You will have your own work tools and site boxes will be provided for these.

The Role

The role sits under the Project Installation Manager and you will essentially be his 'right hand man'. 75% of your role will be based on site with in the UK and some internally including as well as Ireland. You must be happy to be away from home Monday to Friday with occasional installations starting on a Sunday. There could also be some international travel to places such as Holland, South Africa or Australia where you could be away for up to 3-4 weeks at a time. Therefore you must be flexible on this and happy to work away for lengthy periods at a time. You will be a competent team player who is able to assist with leading projects. Your role will include site surveys to check the location in which the kit is being installed to check it is suitable. There is the scope to be able to manage your own projects within the future. The role could also include support with build of equipment before it goes to site.

In Return

In return you should expect a competitive salary of between £35,000 and £38,000 inlcuding overtime which is fully expensed of up to £25per day whilst on site.
