One of the worlds leading specialist Consultancies urgently requires a Senior BI Developer with solid experience of designing and implementing business intelligence tools in complex environments within a mixed delivery team.
As a Senior BI Developer you will have at least 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft PowerBI and over in-depth experience of designing and implementing interactive reports using a range of technologies including, PowerBI, Qlik & Tableau . You will have experience of coaching and mentoring client teams and strong stakeholder engagement skills, experience of data analysis, master data management (MDM) and quality assurance have worked in an Agile development environment and using the associated tools – e.g Jira / Trello.
Ideally you will have experience of delivering database and ETL technologies, deployment of PowerBI within Microsoft Azure, 2 years’ experience working with SQL Server 2008 – 2016 and QlikView / Qlik Sense or Tableau, proven work experience as a Reporting Tool developer, in-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring) and hands on experience designing and delivering reports using a server based technology.
As a Senior Bi Developer you are required to support the Reporting and Data Model leads in order to develop digital reports which will form the “Reporting” component of the Service Platform, deliver a solution that follows the design spec set out by the reporting team, whilst utilising the capabilities of the digital tool, work closely with the ETL supplier to help ensure the correct flow of data from the source systems to the Data Hub ensuring the reports are capturing the correct fields defined in the components library.
You will liaise with Functional and Task Order leads/teams to gather data and assist with integration with the data hub, build processes and procedures to automatically load data from the data hub, collect, consolidate, verify and analyse data from across the project, using it to create the integrated reports within the reporting tool, create dashboards and reports on a weekly, monthly or periodic basis as required whilst managing the client portfolio office and PMOs responsible for information management and reporting
