Our Maintenance Department is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Shift Maintenance Electrical Engineer.
As part of a small maintenance team responsible for the maintenance, repair and integrity of plant and equipment you will be required to provide full electrical engineering support under the leadership of the Maintenance Team Leaders and Maintenance Manager.
As a Shift Electrical Engineer you will work the weekly pattern of early, back and day shift on a rolling 3 week cycle.
. Time served electrical engineer
. Formal electrical qualifications to at least City & Guilds, OHC level or equivalent.
. Have the ability to use electrical test equipment, read schematic diagrams with experience of single and 3 phase installations including motors and controls, inverter and servo drives, sensors, pneumatics and safety systems.
. PLC experience (desirable but not essential).
. Previous experience working within a fast moving food processing industry would be desirable.
. A team player with a strong sense of personal responsibility who has a flexible “can do” attitude. .The ability to complete work effectively to high engineering safety and hygiene standards.
. Proficient in English (literacy and numeracy)
. Be computer literate.
