Service Desk Analyst

Tank Recruitment are current looking to recruit a Deskside Support role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to start a career with one of our key clients and one of the country's leading IT service providers.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To provide deskside support as part of an extended managed Service and to provide 1st line support to existing customers.
Using automated diagnostic programs to solve network problems
Updating knowledge bases with details of common problems which customers can view online
Using helpdesk software to log calls with descriptions of issues, progress and solutions
To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 1 year's experience working within a Service Desk.
A minimum of 1 year's experience providing deskside support.
Great customer services and training skills
Knowledge of MS Office 2010
Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 8
