We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager to develop our marketing strategy and brand development. Using a range of communication channels, you will lead a wide variety of marketing projects to promote our variety of products and services. Working with the support of two assistants, you will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are well structured, measurable and feature content of a high calibre. You will feel confident working to tight deadlines and be able to creatively and smartly maximise budget.
You will be able to write engaging and relevant content (with an understanding for optimising for different communication channels) and/or feel confident in managing external support. Building strong working relationships across the business, you’ll liaise with other departments and ensure our national exhibition events remain relevant and innovative for prospective and existing customers. Keen to learn, you’ll continually evaluate our marketing activity, producing actionable improvement plans and process reviews in response to industry developments and competitor activity.
With significant experience in marketing, you have a good understanding of brand management and how different marketing channels integrate. Used to working in a fast-paced environment, you possess strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and multi-task, along with managing budgets and timelines. Being a strong proofreader, with a creative eye and keen attention to detail, you will be a competent writer and possess the ability to produce original content. With a sound understanding of print and digital disciplines, you’re equally confident discussing print specifications or using digital analytical tools. You’re a positive and self-motivated person who takes pride in their work and is keen to nurture the career aspirations of your supporting assistants. A clean UK driving licence and a willingness to travel to various sites, typically including Gloucester, Oxford, the Midlands and Macclesfield, is necessary.
In return, we offer a competitive salary package and pension scheme, 28 days’ holiday per year (including bank holidays), and the chance to be part of a progressive, supportive and expanding business with ongoing training and development opportunities.
