Job DescriptionManaging Director: An experienced Managing Director who thrives in a fast-paced business environment is required to ensure the ongoing profitability and expansion of an established SME sized training services company with ambitious growth plans.

The Managing Director will be an operational expert with a broad range of skills including proven skills in business development. You will be responsible for all aspects of the management of the business, including adherence with the requirements of external agencies along with the identification and implementation of efficiencies.

*Efficiently plan and oversee strategic, operational, and administrative activities, projects and services
*Establish and implement short and long term organisational goals and objectives, in conjunction with the Directors
*Accurate reporting on core business activities to Directors as required
*Monitor and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency, and implement changes in order to achieve business objectives
*Work with the Directors in relation to the development, execution and evaluation of new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures
*Manage and provide leadership across the business, including contractors
*Manage the representation of the organisation to external agencies, clients and prospective clients
*Identify and make recommendations to Directors in relation to business growth and diversification.

Skills & Experience:
*Proven in a similar role as a Managing Director
*Qualified to Degree level (MBA / Master's Degree desirable) in business, finance, management OR equivalent experience
*Innovative approach to developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
*Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions
*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals
*Ability to organise resources, establish priorities and manage competing deadlines
*Ability to manage, motivate and upskill employees, to include organising, prioritising and scheduling work assignments
*Demonstrates clear and coherent leadership
*Strong computer skills (MS Office)
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
