We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated candidate who will work as Site Technical Sales Executive within the South West Area of England and Wales.
This is a multi-disciplined position requiring both the generation of sales growth and site technical support.

What does the role involve?

The successful candidate will require knowledge of structural groundworks and be able to effectively deal with customers on site and technical departments with housing developers. Experience of foundations is essential and structural engineering knowledge would be beneficial.
Tasks involve: -
• Winning projects/tenders and generating sales through engaging with geotechnical and structural engineers, house builders, housing developers and groundworks contractors.
• Site Training and Inductions of groundworker site operatives
• Carrying out washout test on site to ensure the correct dosage of steel fibres
• Regular visits to sites to ensure installation standards are maintained
• Onsite technical support for installation problems and remedial details for repairs liaising with Building Control inspectors ensuring familiarity of Insulslab Foundations
• Working with our Consultant Structural Engineers and Quantity Surveyors
Key elements of this role will be to support customers with technical support and advice on the Insulslab Foundations and site training and inductions of groundworker site operatives.
You will carry out site visits to ensure standards are maintained and advise on Insulslab solutions, you will be required to provide information to Insulslab Consultants to enable Insulslab Foundation designs and cost to be issued.
You will need to maintain relationships with key Insulslab housebuilder customers in the region , as well as developing new customers to grow the business. It is essential to also develop new relationships with groundworks contractors within the industry, whilst managing and maintaining live projects with a view to convert them to orders. In addition you will provide in house technical product training and keep up to date with all current and new building regulations and ensure compliance to SIG Zero Harm Health & Safety Regulations when visiting sites.
You will have a proven depth of experience of foundations and structural engineering knowledge would be beneficial. You will have a strong commercial approach and understanding. You will possess a strong technical sales ability, the excellent communications with the ability to develop strong relationships. Strong Microsoft Excel, Publisher & Word ability needed and experience using AutoCAD would be helpful.
