About the Support Worker role:
Our client is looking for caring, creative and enthusiastic people to join their dedicated teams as Support workers to provide both individualised and group-based support to disabled people within their local community and own homes. Taking a person-centred approach; you will support people to engage in leisure, pleasure and educational interests to meet their requests and specified outcomes.
Requirements for the role:
As a Support worker you must have an understanding of the needs of people who have disabilities and experience of working in a person-centred manner including the maintenance of support plans and other associated record keeping. You must also be willing to work flexibly across the week which will include evening and weekend work. A full driving licence, business class insurance and access to a vehicle is preferable for the 16 hours per week posts and essential for the 35 hours per week posts.
- An NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent and 2 years working in Health and Social Care are desirable.

A “sign on” bonus of £100 is paid to all staff following the successful completion of the probationary period.
