Payroll & Finance Officer / Wigan / Salary £24K - £26K / Permanent

I am representing a well established and very successful company based in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Payroll, HR and Finance, to join in this role and establish yourself while making it your own. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Duties & responsibilities:
* Complete monthly payroll
* Maintain HR database
* Provide payroll and HR admin support
* Dealing with payroll queries
* Maintain employment contracts and personnel files
* Support line managers in HR procedures
* Monthly reporting on Payroll and HR
* Resolution of Purchase Ledger errors
* Ensure Group Policies and audit requirements are being followed
* Complete intrastate information to HMRC
* Assist the Finance Manager with any ad-hoc duties as required

This role is best suited to someone who has:
* Payroll, Finance and HR experience
* Strong Excel skills
* Analytical skills with the ability to present solutions
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly motivated, outgoing and enthusiastic team player
