required for a small office team working for four busy, expanding companies.

Duties will include:

  • Management of accounts for four companies
  • Reconciliation of nominal accounts
  • Submission of VAT returns for all companies
  • Inputting of sales / purchase invoices
  • Daily banking across companies
  • Payment runs across the companies
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining sales ledger accounts for warranty companies
  • Credit control
  • invoicing of monthly and quarterly rent
  • Keeping property lease files up to date
  • Manage Pension scheme
  • Liaise with Accountants and HMRC where necessary
  • HR - running payrolls monthly and fortnightly - keeping employee files and contracts up to date
  • Companies House reports to be sent as and when
  • Other adhoc duties / queries - maintaining company car databases, electricity contracts, insurance policies, health insurance policies
  • Oversee running of the office
  • Management of Accounts Assistant
  • PA to the company owners and management

The successful candidate will be very organised with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise well. You will need a good understanding of accounts. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, ideally AAT qualified
