Job Title: Ecommerce Executive

Location: Brighton

Salary: £25k-£32k

Our client are looking to recruit an Ecommerce Executive to support the delivery of the ecommerce strategy, improving user experience and increasing conversion rates. Monitoring daily operation and functionality of all sites.



  • Assist the Ecommerce Manager in implementing A/B & MVT testing, and analysing the results
  • Create, maintain and optimise landing pages / categories to reduce bounce rates and improve search engine visibility
  • Implement new product launches and promotional campaigns within set deadlines
  • Creating promotions within web CMS in line with the marketing calendar
  • Work with external agencies to ensure paid and natural search campaigns are working effectively
  • Assist Marketing with implementation of automated lifecycle campaigns to improve customer retention
  • Support the Ecommerce Manager to develop the online customer journey, identifying opportunities to encourage repeat purchases and increasing conversion
  • Raise any website issues with the development agency where necessary and implement solutions
  • Optimise product category structure, liaising with relevant departments to ensure site is simple to navigate and products easy to find
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with other departments and the warehouse to ensure orders and customer service are maintained at the highest standards
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of products and merchandising rules, and associated tools used to manage ecommerce
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity


  • Provide regular reporting of key metrics to ensure sites are converting to set targets
  • Monitor on-site user behaviour and make recommendations to targets to improve user experience
  • Monitor customer reviews on-site and pass feedback to relevant departments


  • Answer telephone promptly and efficiently as and when required
  • Attendance at company beauty shows and exhibitions if required
  • Assist in other areas of the department when required
