The Brand Marketing team, part of our Marketing and Customer Experience function, is on a mission to ensure the brand purpose is at the heart of everything that we do as a business, and using customer insight, create outstanding multichannel communications to engage customers, make them want to book a TUI, First Choice holiday or Marella Cruise and share their experiences. We have recently reviewed the size and shape of our team having rebranded and are investing in this team as well as strengthening our relationship with the TUI group business to improve how we plan future brand strategy.

What you will be doing

The Brand Marketing Team is responsible for championing our brands and products and evolving brand identities and positioning in line with our brand promise. They are also responsible for strategy and planning for all brand marketing communications to drive awareness by creating inspiring and impactful through the line creative campaigns.

Our vision for our Brand Marketing team is to have an integrated view of all marketing activity for each brand to maximise effectiveness throughout our marketing channels.

This role is new to the marketing team and is central to the way the marketing team works. It is an exciting role for an experienced campaign manager to develop outstanding campaigns to deliver a consistent brand message to our customers and drive sales. Key responsibilities are:

Capably and inspirationally act as a senior leader in the Marketing function collaborating, challenging, co-creating and role-modelling our TUI values and leadership behaviours working beyond the role and team to inspire the wider function and form the wider strategy.

Own the creation and delivery of the annual Marketing communication plan, ensuring commercial and brand objectives are delivered. This role will ensure integration of all marketing activity across all channels including Digital, Social, CRM and PR.

Lead the development and delivery of inspiring and impactful through the line marketing campaigns, working closely with relevant marketing and ecommerce teams and third parties such as agencies to drive awareness, create engagement and support delivery of sales targets

Devise innovative and efficient solutions to integrated campaign management, which aligns to wider TUI Group priorities, local UK capacities and omni-channel growth ambitions.

Lead the marketing relationship with all 3rd party suppliers to drive revenue and leverage the partnerships (3rd Party Cruises, Airports, Tourist Boards) to ensure they support overall TUI brand strategy.

Improve how we work in an integrated and co-ordinated way across the Marketing teams to drive greater efficiencies, collaboration and ultimately productivity of resource, spend and better output

Manage requests for communication support across the business, and lead the business on the communication planning process.

What we are looking for

•Significant experience working in senior marketing role in a leadership position
•Progressive, forward thinker who identifies industry / consumer trends and acts to ensure competitive advantage
•Experience of defining, executing, monitoring and evaluating programme of activity
•Highly organised with a flexible approach to working within a fast changing, fast moving environment
•Able to present a compelling case on strategic issues and opportunities
•Senior stakeholder management including external partners – impact, communication and influencing skills
•Significant experience of creative agency relationship build and management
•Experience developing and implementing through-the-line marketing communications including brand activation campaigns (ATL and TTL) and some major sponsorship activities
•Proven track record of briefing and delivering creative brand work and media implementation
•Sound understanding of marketing campaign planning and management
•Strong analytical skills and able to be strategic when analysing complex data to arrive at meaningful insights on which to build activation strategies, platforms and campaigns. for the brand
•Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret large volumes of data
•Proven financial planning and experience of managing a large, complex budget
•Excellent networking and partnership management skills
•Confident and experienced at leading teams and celebrating successes with those teams with the ability to develop individuals through great performance management
•Experience of managing the marketing of a complex brand and product portfolio
•Experience of managing the marketing complexities of a large retail estate
•Degree educated or equivalent
