Stores Controller required for a brand new, permanent role in the Washington area. This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with a very experienced Purchasing Manager, for a business that is enjoying planned growth and offers a very stable, long term future. Based in a small, friendly, team environment you will be required to receive deliveries, booking in both electronically and manually, and locating stock. You will also be responsible for picking stock for production, packing and despatching orders whilst ensuring that accurate records are maintained.
In addition to this, you will also ensure that customer packages are shipped in an appropriate condition, complying with company specifications.
A keen eye is vital in ensuring goods are promptly checked for damage with any faults reported, liaising with suppliers with regards to quality control.
Housekeeping will form part of this role, monitoring the environment and ensuring that it is maintained at an appropriate and clean level.
Applications are welcome from candidates with a good standard of education, recent experience of stock systems and of working in a stores environment. Applicants with some knowledge of 8D analysis/ non-conformance controls are of particular interest as is a FLT License.
£25,000 - £27,000 per annum.
