My client a successful business with sites throughout the UK are seeking a Stock Analyst on a 12 month contract to join their busy team based in their Woodbridge head office. The main focus of the role is to ensure the effective distribution of stock across the business, sales forecasting and control of intake and replenishment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
*Analysing sales data, identifying top sellers/poor sellers and reduce/increase intake from suppliers accordingly
*Using spreadsheets/excel for data analysis of sales and stock performance
*Maintaining an accurate schedule of deliveries into the distribution centres
*Carry out regular centre visits to build internal relationships & review performance of departments
*Providing a main point of contact for stores on stock issues
*Support the maintenance of the stock replenishment system to maximise sales potential
To be successful in this role you will need to possess excellent excel skills and a strong knowledge of all other MS packages. This role would be suited to someone in a similar role within a retail head office or someone working in an analytical role.
Due to the location of this role and occasional travel to sites across the UK it is desired that you hold a full, clean UK driving license.
