Purchasing Assistant required for a new permanent role in the Washington area. This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with a very experienced Purchasing Manager, for a business that is enjoying planned growth and offers a very stable, long term future.
Based in a small, friendly, team environment you will be required to assist in the procurement of goods and services and provide support in the process of supplier selection.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that orders are processed in a timely manner to ensure that materials are shipped on time.
The ability to develop strong relationships with external suppliers is vital and the regular monitoring of their performance regarding delivery and quality is also a part of this role.
Accurate recording of purchase orders and delivery notes will form part of your day along with other associated administrative duties.

£19,000 - £21,000 per annum
