Business Standards Manager – Permanent – Up to £50k - Lancashire

Our client based in Lancashire is currently looking for a Business Standards Manager to work within a Management team to manage the compliance activity to ensure the organisation is working within the agreed business standards. The successful Business Standards Manager will have considerable knowledge of FSA regulations including ICOBs, TCF and the Data Protection Act.

Key responsibilities for the Business Standards Manager

• To ensure the business remains compliant by supporting, advising, implementing and monitoring in accordance within FSA regulations.
• Provide appropriate operational and management information and analysis to the Group Compliance Department, Group Risk Department and Management & Statutory Board.
• Manage call centre monitoring in relation to Regulatory, Underwriting and Sales requirements.
• Communicate changes in regulations and legislation across all areas of the business.

Key skills and experience for the Business Standards Manager

• Solid knowledge of FSA regulations to include ICOBs, TCF and the Data Protection Act.
• Extensive experience of implementing changes in regulations and legislation across the organisation.
• Demonstrable experience of documentation and management of a complex complaints procedure.
• Excellent communication skills with a willingness to challenge processes and procedures to support the delivery of the organisations objectives.
